Which packaging material is better for the environment?

There are many biodegradable and recyclable alternative packaging solutions. The following are examples of the most common natural breakdown packaging:

    Paper – This is a great packaging choice as it is reusable, recyclable, biodegradable, and can be used for any purpose. Most of the paper packaging we see every day is made from recycled paper.

    Cardboard – Due to its strong form, cardboard is another great packaging alternative. Cardboard that is not laminated breaks down easily.

    Bagasse Paper - This packaging material is made from the extracted juice of sugarcane fiber pulp. Bagasse paper is often used to replace traditional paper packaging in food service.

There are also packaging items that can be recycled. However, even if they are not harmful to the environment, procuring the raw materials used to produce these items still requires a lot of energy.
